Very nice engine Block out of a 1999 Dodge Cummins 5.9. It was removed from service due to Rod bearing failure. This is a code 53 Block and they have a reputation for cracking on the right hand side between or below freeze plugs. But this 1 looks good and my thing is if it lasted this long it probably won’t. It is ready to use like it is or a hone job wouldn’t hurt.
