Vintage 15 lot of magazine/newsletters from 1942 & 1943 (WWII emphasis thru-out). 1 – April, 1942 Issure – The Rogers Round-Up was published monthly for the employees of The Cummins Diesel Engine Corporation of New York and its affiliated companies, Edwards Company and Hill Diesel Engine Company. Lot of 15 Issues Include. 1942 – Volume 1, Number 1-6, 8-9 – Missing #7. 1943 – Volume II, Number 1, 2, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12. Volumes 1: 1-4 have 4 pages each, the remaining issues have between 6 – 10 pages in each issue. Starting with issue #6 , makes mention “The Rogers Round-Up is published monthly for the employees of Rogers Diesel & Aircraft Corporation and its affiliated Companies , Edwards Company and Hill Diesel Engine Company” Norman J. The first six issues all have creases across the center going top to bottom , and left to right side of each of these six magazines. As probably the employee folded each issue and put in their pocket. Remaining issues are not creased. Filled throughout with articles, information, black & white photos telling about the organization, employees, advertisements, lists of employees who served in the military, and more. Plants in New York, Sanford, NC are mentioned. Very rare war-time memorabilia! Lots of references to World War II war efforts. All publications are in about good to about very good condition. Some show dirtying to the covers. 5 has a 1″ x 1″ piece torn off of top center edge of cover. 3 has writing and staining to the front cover. Other issues’ inside pages appear to have no writing.
