This exhaust brake features a CAN based control systems that completely integrates with the stock exhaust brake controller to provide a smooth calibration-free installation. The actuator in this kit provide instantaneous actuation that allows you to tow heavy loads with more confidence using the OEM dash controls. This Fleece FPE-EXBRK-67-1318 Electronically Actuated Exhaust Brake is manufactured from heavy duty cast iron that is ceramic coated for longevity. The common problems with a traditional exhaust brake – loud air pumps, frozen air supply lines, and difficult installations are now a thing of the past as installation of this kit generally takes about 2 hours. This exhaust brake includes the cast elbow, downpipe, V-band clamps, wiring, cooling lines and fittings you need for installation with 4 different modes for all your towing needs (listed below). Cold-Start/Warm Up Mode: This exhaust brake will accelerate the heating up of the engine to 150 degrees by remaining partial closed at idle. Full-On Mode: This exhaust brake will activate at 0% throttle with no brake input over 10 mph to provide the fastest response time from the exhaust brake. Automatic Mode: This exhaust brake will activate at 0% throttle when the brake pedal is applied over 10 mph.
